Search engines use a software application, also known as spiders or bots, to visit sites and index content to create an overall picture of the web. This picture serves as a foundation of how content and links are used to drive ranking decisions. <br /> <br />They key is to ensure your text structure is SEO friendly, which means spiders or bots can read your website and index your content. It doesn’t matter how great your content and backlinks are. If a search engine can’t understand it, it will not rank it. <br /> <br />Your website can hinder your SEO efforts in many ways. Hard coded, complex code, no CMS, not enough content; all of these mean return to sender in SEO.
